at the end of the season doesn't help. Did you miss the firing of a coach the day we played Tennessee? Do you think the results of that day are representative of what we will see in the future?
Wipe the slate of everything you saw up to and including the performance of the D that day. There was a restart following that game. There is good reason to believe we will be better than that game, and others before it, with all of the turmoil on the D. And we have a solid O returning.
There are no guarantees, but there are legitimate reasons to be hopeful for a better finish this year, as opposed to last year. That's not drinking Kook-aide. That's taking facts in proper context, and looking forward to a 2nd year head coach doing a better job than he did his first year. We will see. But to suggest Mizzou has sunk to pre Pinkel status is unfounded.
