because the victim told what happened?
And no, from the little i read, imo she did not deserve jail time.
But the fact that the underage student with whom she had sex, said that she had sex with an underage student, DAMAGED HER REPUTATION.
Here's a thought toots, it you don't want you reputation damaged, don't screw children in your charge.
