we stear clear of socialism, let market forces decide what is available, find ways to increase competition and not restrict interstate commerce on insurance. What else is needed?

Why must there be a plan?

Does the government have a plan for the car Industry?
Does the government have a plan for the shoe industry?
Does the government have a plan for the spaghetti industry?

I am not saying to abandon all regulation, only saying that it needn't to be so tightly scripted as to try to appeal to everyone.
