When I disagree with someone on the left I chalk it up to them having a different set of values, experiences and world views. But when the left disagrees with me it is because they believe I am racist, sexist, homophobic, misogynistic and usually evil.

When you believe you have the corner on truth and goodness how is there room for compromise?
