Kim Anderson, Steve Dangos, Jim Kenndy, Jeff Currie, Bill Flamank

Let MU to first Big 8 title and elite eight appearance. Anderson would go on to be conference player of the year, while Kennedy finished top 25 all time in scoring. Dangos was a JUCO who provided immediate scoring punch at 14.3 ppg, Currie a starter, and Bill Flamank even ended up scoring 11.8 ppg and adding 8.1 boards a game in his final season.
