Why do you think folks so fervently embrace the propaganda/teaching from their state education while now deriding it as progressive, liberal, false, misguided?

How do you explain that contradiction?

Why wouldn't folks accept the notion that perhaps their govt doesn't want them to know that FDR wanted war with Japan (whether for noble and misguided or ignoble reasons)?
