Economics took down much of journalism beginning in the nineties when News moved from investigative journalism to infotainment. It is simply far cheaper to pay talking heads to comment then to pay reporters to report.

But - the current investigation is quite real and will take some time to pan out. But the more the look the dirtier it gets. Trump folks willingly - eagerly - pursued meetings with Russians for dirt on HRC. That is NOT a good thing from Team Trump.
