This has gotten worse for them, not better. Every time new information comes out, their defense moves back a few yards.
At some point, the benefit of the doubt will not be given by the public anymore. Theres simply way too much swirling around for it all to be coincidental. There are too many changed stories and retroactively changed documentation for this all to be happenstance. They are denying it and dismissing it far too early, rather than letting the investigation play out, to be completely innocent. But thats just IMO.
But in the end, Trump may get the Cosby treatment. He clearly did something wrong, but if Dems put up another ****ter, he could be reelected. And thats the problem with modern American politics.
