Something you might ponder:
The Declaration of Independence declares all men an endowed with certain "unalienable rights", i.e. the pursuit of life, liberty, . . .".
The Constitution sets forth various rights in the Bill of Rights, i.e. the First Amendment's freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, etc.
However, while it is difficult, the Constitution can be amended. Thus in the abstract the Constitution could be amended to eliminate all of the rights in the Bill of Rights.
