My take on the Russia / Trump collusion story is that it is, in large part, an effort to reduce Trump's flexibility when dealing with Russia pushed by the factions of our government that are opposed to better relations between the two countries. Those factions are obviously planting information in the US media. They have a long history of planting propaganda in the US media, why would they change now?
I am not particularly interested in whether Russian media outlets promoted Trump, they obviously did, but so what? We do that all the time.
I have seen no real proof Russia was behind the DNC hacks. It is possible they were, but ordinary citizens don't have any real way of knowing. False flag operations are very common. Any competent intelligence agency knows how to pull them off, and very few question a false flag operation that blames an official enemy. Even if the Russians did it, we do the same all the time.
But no, I don't think Russia is any more moral than we are. I don't worry to much about the Russian Threat. I don't cower in fear of musloom terrorists. I understand that those types of hype are used by the elites to manipulate public opinion. I concentrate on trying to understand why they do it because that helps me anticipate where things are headed. I don't delude myself into believing any action I could take will change the course of events.
