Washington Post has big story on Russia and election. The Post is very well connected with the intelligence agencies, with significant evidence of collusion with them for decades. The article claims interviews with 10 current and former intelligence officials. It claims to have highly sensitive classified information.

So basically, it looks like there are two alternative interpretations of what is going on: (1) the intelligence agencies have had it with Trump and are attempting a soft coup; or (2) Russia aggressively intervened in the election to defeat Clinton.
One red flag, the article claims the some of the most sensitive information was provided to the CIA by third countries. The CIA frequently uses British M16 and Israeli Mossad to launder lies that it does't want it fingerprints on.
Both alternatives are plausible at this point. Both are bad situations for a number of reasons.
