to join the B1G. And at the time of course it looked like the Big 12 was imploding, so it made great sense all around.
But those reasons just aren't there anymore. The wrestling team is the only sport that really suffers now from not being in the B1G; if we were there I think the intense competition would push us to upgrade the program even more to survive. But we aren't going to flip conferences now over getting the wrestling team better competition. In the majority of sports we play the competition is just so much better in the SEC, it pushes us to constantly upgrade our talent and quality. I like that, even though we are taking our lumps in several sports.
