Worse than Tilmon was what an a-hole cop did

to my friend back around '98-'99 (we were both over 21). I stopped by to hang out at his parents' house with him. We had a couple beers. We went out to the front yard talking to his mom as she was getting ready to leave. He stepped on to the sidewalk in front of the house as his mom had parked on the street.

A cop rolling by right then flashes his lights, gets out and my friend was ticketed for having an open container in public.. the sidewalk right in front of where he lived.

Only a couple years ago, I was going to a county park that has some decent hiking trails. Off the main road, there is a parking lot by a building sometimes used for weddings. I pull in to the parking lot on a week day, it is completely empty. There is a speed bump in the parking lot, so I drive around it and park.

A-hole park Ranger flies up pinning my vehicle in. I get a ticket for avoiding a traffic control device.. in an empty parking lot.
