IMO. I don't visit either board nearly as much as I used to because 80% of the posts are by 10% of the posters, and most of them are trolls. They hijack every decent conversation and people just stop even trying.

It's pretty simple IMO: Have a 0 tolerance policy like a lot of boards do. The second someone starts trolling, just click a button and kill the handle. If you want a person to leave the board for good, ask them to. If they keep coming back with new handles, kill the new handles the second you suspect it's them.
