I think you're chasing the idea that if you make all guns illegal in the US, gun violence will disappear.
Apart from the constitutional and practical objections (of door to door confiscation), I'm asking you what people, in general, do you think will abide such a law and surrender weapons and ammo and what people won't?

lastly, let's just say every person in the US gives up all their arms tomorrow and gun violence drops massively.
What will you do when a real monster or party of monsters gets into power as the US continues to decay economically? When only govt's jack-booted agents have guns?

Me, I've never owned a gun. I also realize most gun violence is domestic, in the neighborhood, and very isolated in specific places which share characteristics I don't live near.
Your gun confiscation plans won't get the violence out of those places, deary.
