It's obvious to me that besides the common voter, there are all sorts of organizations who want to influence elections for their preferred candidate:

-Labor unions
-Wall Street banks
-Industry special interest groups

etc., etc., etc.

OF COURSE the Russians tried to influence the election. Why? Who knows. It's not like the US has NEVER tried to influence who is in power in foreign countries.

The better question for HIllary Clinton supporters is:

Why is it outrageous that Russia was trying to influence the election for Trump and at the same time, it was OK for Hillary to take large sums of money from foreign governments while she was both Secretary of State and whilst campaigining for president? Wouldn't that money also come with a promise of influence?
