in the top 25, you are not ranked at all.

To be truly unranked according to any poll, you would need to receive zero votes. If, for instance, you are talking about a top 25 poll, and a team received 1 vote at 25, they would still be ranked. They would be ranked last, or tied for last, but they would still be ranked.
