people were more accepting; that does not mean anyone who wouldn't date a transperson is a bad person. It doesn't mean she'll be disappointed until 100% of people say they'd date one.
And objectively, I'm not sure how anyone can disagree with the sentiment that "more acceptance is a good thing".
And just an FYI, I doubt I would date a transperson. I'm married so I don't really need to worry about it, but yes I would likely have to jump a mental "hurdle" to do it. But I'd have to do the same for a kU fan. It doesn't make me a bad person and I certainly didn't feel shamed reading the article.
Now being friends? I obviously have no issues with that and it's kind of weird that 25% of people said they wouldn't even be friends with them.
