That's the way our system is supposed to work. It isn't perfect and you can't always get what you want. Sometimes more voters want something else. Of course there's always the tinfoil hat crowd that think that it's always supposed to follow it's desires regardless of the majority's wishes. And if it doesn't then it's always because of conspiracies or whatever.
