He would be remembered much differently if he had. He missed all of first semester at a prep school, joined the team with basically no practices, and was only 17 years old at the time. Basically wasted his freshman season, but there was so much pressure and expectations for him to take the court. If he would have had a 5th year at the end of his career, he would have put up very good numbers sliding into AJ's vacated role.
