And certainly deserving of a statue.
Its not like naming your court for a guy hired to be a chapel director at your school that actually stole both the rules of the game and its basic fundamental concepts from Lambert Will and just took credit without ever properly crediting Will.
He eventually went on to compile a below .500 record at ku and lost every game he ever coached against MU. He was famously quoted to have advised Phog Allen upon hearing he wanted to go into coaching, “You can't coach basketball; you just play it."
