The fact that I criticize a 27-68 (.284) head coach is very "logical" and "valid" as saying that is a horrible coaching record. I don't give a rat's ass who you are, that sucks, solely based on the numbers.

I have nothing personal against KA. But he was a crappy coach and recruiter at Mizzou. Those are facts based on numbers, transfers, and signees.

But to "naysay" that CM can't recruit is just complete BS. Especially if you look at his past record.

And sure MPJ, was the "selling point" for Harris, Roberts & Robertson in this short cycle. But don't kid yourself, CM still had to convince them, that they would fit well in his coaching style. CM still had to sell them that "he's running the show", not MPJ.

And furthermore (in my honest opinion) had CM NOT used MPJ as his best selling point, or Ace in the hole . . . then I'd say he's a dumb ass recruiter and coach.

But the fact is, he did use him, and got a top 10 class out of it. That's pretty fuking smart if you ask me.

This guy can recruit. Period. Give him a year and you will see.
