is authorized by the US constitution? and i should specify when i say government i mean Federal government.
leaving aside all the other unconstitutional things we pay for now can you specifically cite where the constitution or the framer's intent leads you to believe that the fed government paying for universal health care is constitutional.
or is that you just think taxing everyone (well 50% of us anyway) is constitutional and the fed govt can tax what they want and spend it how they want?
