It's the same logic.
They will never admit the magnitude of the mistake, and they make excuses, because it haunts them just how bad the mistake was in reality. And they are torn up by the fact that KA's 27 wins, will give him the title of worst Mizzou (or D1) coach EVER. And it's cemented in the record books, staring them in the face forever.
