There was a solid piece in the Economist last few years on a gathering of young Palestinian leaders and not one of them sought a two state solution. All of them seek a one state solution - knowing or at the worst hoping that the world will not long stand for an Israeli apartheid state and knowing by sheer force of demographics, the palestinian people will overwhelm Israel within about 15 or maybe 20 years. No sense taking the short end of the stick in a "two state solution" when you can have it all.
Trump's BULLSHT idea about moving US embassy to and "recognizing" Jerusalem as capital of Israel might lead to the whole place blowing up. THAT is one of the dangers to the Trump presidency, his staggering level of ignorance.
