It's self-explanatory.
I don't care that your church was full this a.m. That doesn't tell me anything except that people got their a$$es out of bed and to church. Fine.
Read the article and tell me what you think.
Here's a portion that made me think:
"Celebrity evangelists selling their souls for a Supreme Court seat.
Local pastors loudly sanctioning hometown anti-LGBTQ legislation.
Church friends being silent in face of Muslim Bans, Anti-Semitic graffiti, and refugee neglect.
A theocratic political leadership that offers safe sanctuary to bigotry, racism, and homophobia—and expels compassion and decency."
This passage describes the vast majority of RW churchgoers to me. I see it everyday in real life and from posters on this board, particularly from the right. To me, they are a poor representation of being a believer.
