Where we would want to finish last in the SEC. That is if we go 0-5 in our last 5 games and finish 28-28 in the regular season. In that scenario I would frankly rather take our chances with the NCAA selection committee giving us one of the last at large bids than rely on us winning a first round game in the SEC tourney.
We made things a lot easier on ourselves by stealing one game at LSU, now we need to take all the pressure off by at least splitting with Wichita State on Wednesday. There is a forecast of rain there now and it wouldn't be bad either if that doubleheader is just rained out. It would be nice to go into the last weekend facing Ole Miss and a pitching staff that is very capable of shutting us down and already have a winning season clinched to take all the pressure off this young Mizzou team.
