And it was W's fault ya dip. W was informed at PDB in Aug that ObL was going to fly planes into buildings. That was in the morning PDB - W left on five week vacation that afternoon. AFTER 9/11 they put TSA restrictions on flights.

Ya see, part of Neocon's PNAC (Project for New American Century) was to have their/our own "Pearl Harbor" which would enable leadership for broadly enhanced military excursions and COINCIDENTALLY a re-configured Middle East heavily favorable to Israel. At the time there were three power in the region, Iran, Iraq, Israel. US needed to knock out Israel's competition for sole power. Iraq became ez pickings as we had destroyed their military under Poppy and its location was a flat desert.

The PLAN before taking office let alone the election was to take out Hussein and topple Iraq. This too would bring on the ARAB SPRING where Democracies would bloom magically across the region - or maybe gosh perhaps the Syrian Crisis and rise of ISIS in the vacuum created by the destruction of Iraq.
