clearances work or they are hiding what they found. Flynn was fired in 2014, effectively ending his clearance. Reinstatement of his clearance requires vetting from end of service though date of reinstatement. Had that taken place his interaction with foreign operatives would have been found. Only two ways this plays out-Trumps team didn't do the vetting or they did and ignored it, neither scenario is good
