the cost of obtaining sports has been skyrocketing. Their revenues have possibly been flat or declining much of it based on number of people going away from cable. They have not figured out how to do a very good job of monetizing direct to consumer for content...and even if they do monetize that, it will likely be only live sports, not other shows.
