The left is very big on newspeak. Something the left understands that the right does not is that whoever controls the language will ultimately control the culture.
Abortion sounds bad so we will call it choice, just like what outfit to wear.
Illegal immigrant sounds bad so we will call them undocumented, like forgetting your license and driving to work.
Rioter sounds bad so we will call them protestors.
By controlling the words we use you can eventually shape the majority opinion.
