years ago? What historical record is there of the suns activity? Or is it like temperature data, if they can find something that in some way supports their claim they accept it if not they either ignore it, or better yet, 'fix' it.

They flat out state that the suns activity changes the climate. But then conclude that it does not really matter. Why? Because there is no money to be made from natural causes. Therefore there has to be a man made cause out there.
