connected to the grid for upkeep on the grid. We all pay that as part of our electric bills but since their solar cells provide a majority of their power they are not paying for that upkeep.
I see no problem charging them for that, again if they do not wish to pay they can disconnect and avoid the charge. As long as it is a fair charge I don't see the problem.
