It would be stupid for the US to keep pressing that point. It would be better to open up another front on the Polish border or the Ukraine. Any thing in the med or the Persian gulf we would lose carriers. then we cannot project power or send troops or whatever. they have the technology to light up stealth technology after all they invented it. We would be forced to retreat or use nukes. Battlefield logistics.
