Jesus, Baba, Krishna, Krishnamurti and many unknown to our world today. The idea holds pretty. The Redeemer comes to re-arouse man's expectations for his Spiritual Ascension perhaps. Hunter here suggests, as Meher Baba - the most recent Avatar suggests that our excitement, our ardour about HIM can tend to fade over time. Townshend wrote a tune about this "Don't Let Go the Coat (Cloak) based on a comment by Meher Baba. Baba lived last century.
