If you condense the article down, it's essentially saying if you have one black pupil, you must have a black teacher for a role model. Or, one hispanic, a hispanic teacher. One eskimo, you best find an eskimo teacher.
It's being high minded, pretending to preach diversity, when in reality, it's nothing but racist.
aka, kids can only learn from one of their own kind, and it's the school's responsibility to find someone for them aspire to.
It's nothing but a blatant racist demand to force hiring of minority teachers because whitey just isn't a role model for (well, even whiteys at this point), and it's racist to think otherwise.
The article instead of demanding better parents, has instead decided that schools should provide every color, race and appropriate parental role model.
