Their natural rights violated to the extreme. The US helped them. No crime was committed.

People have the right to defend themselves, and be defended.

You assume that Syria is a nation of one people, with one action that should result in an equal consequence. That is not the case in Syria.

Now, to answer your question: War would be the only acceptable outcome.
