Cal but was plagued by injuries toward the end of that season.
Cal started out hot this season as well, but lost some close games against top teams and the timing of it coincided with when he would have been interviewing for other jobs.
He also had a great season at Missouri State, but was cheated out of a tourney bid.
Overall, he has had several very good seasons and never had a bad season. I think if he has more than 3 years to build a program, he will thrive, especially now that he's in his prime recruiting territory.
