useless, shameful and unnecessary war fought in centuries.

Egos of the three idiot cousins each wanting to be THE MAN, caused the horrible death of millions.

The civil war was necessary.
WWII was necessary.

The first world war makes me sad and angry to see the devastation brought about by detached idiots bent on their own power.

The good news for the socialists is that it led to the rise of lenin and communism. So there's that.
