Mother and her two young kids had plates or fruit and muffins waiting on the elevator at the hotel. They were still dressed in their night clothes. The problem was that the hotel didn't have free breakfast. Rather they had gotten their meal from outside the room where a group was holding their conference.

So instead of paying for their meal in the restaurant they just took what wasn't theirs
