You'd rather spend trillions, double , triple the price of energy and cause massive job loss.
And accomplish nothing.
That's the main problem. You'll make the poor suffer, the middle class suffer, all in order to make you feel better about doing something.
That your approach wouldn't help, given china, india's growth?

Everyone else suffering, losing jobs and paying more to make you feel good about your life choices?
to you, and other greenies, well worth it.
You tend to ignore that in the US, if that energy cost skyrockets, people will burn the forests just like they do in third world countries.
