It was designed to fail and lead us to a single payer plan. The idiots in GOP leadership are doing exactly what the authors of the bill planned. Instead of just scrapping this abortion they are attempting to 'fix' it. There is a binary choice here and fixing it is not one of the options.
They can either complete scrap ACA and return to a free market system. For this to work government regulations would have to be relaxed and tort reform initiated.
The other option is to admit that Obamacare is a failure and the only way to 'fix' it is to move to a single payer system.
We are on the precipice we can either return to our free market roots or take another giant step towards socialism. I do not believe the GOP leadership has the cajones to do the right thing here. Single payer is somewhere in our near future.
