there is no getting around the fact that it is a denial of self-ownership, that a person is being kidnapped and forced into labor against his will. Even if labor were absent, it is still slavery. Slavery does not hinge upon buying or selling; it hinges upon kidnapping and forcefully holding someone against their will.
