both would make good contributions to next years team. Nikko gave some serviceable minutes this year filling in for woods when he was in foul trouble. A big body that could rebound. Smith was showing promise and can run the floor well for a big man.

You need both to practice against as they give you the ability to practice against tall inside players that bring different games.

I would add a post player which would give us 3 inside men. (new guy, Nikko and Smith).

Carry 5 forwards ( MPJ, Barnett, Puryear, hopefully Knox and JonTay

Carry 5 guards (Phillips, Roberts, Harris, Hughes or Van Leer and hopefully Mark Smith)

If you can quickly blend these guys into a unified squad you could win some games. The "hopefuls" are the big keys.

This would leave Kemp, Walton, Geist and either Van Leer or Hughes seeking transfers.
