Were you at the race?
Did you see her struggle?

I know, let's have "hero brigades" at all races. Any time some is "clearly fatigued" (imagine being fatigued running 13 miles) the heroes can pick them up and carry them across the finish line.

If from the article, she was going to finish by herself, should she have told the hero to put her down?

What great story will she have to tell? How she was not good enough to finish the race and someone had to carry her?
