that would tie up a scholarship for 3 years for CVL. Good kid, just not a D1 player. Maybe Loos can pull a string and place him at a Austin Peay? Perhaps one of the directional Illinois schools. But honestly, average athletes who are below average shooters who haven't done the work in the weight room to compensate for defensive short comings are a dime a dozen at the D1 level. Why spend a scholarship for a kid like CVL when you can get the exact same player out of high school and maybe he has some upside?
