It was a political ploy, a campaign marketing trick. Pretty easy to demonize this BEAST called Obamacare and thus to garner and win votes.
It was never ever about Health Care Reform. It was about gaining votes and power.
Then a funny thing happened. They got the power and they have NO clue what to do with it. HONESTLY you have to hand it to Obama and Pelosi for getting it done. GOP has no clue.
