Now. There are a lot of them in Columbia, and a few on this board (although I think they are just jokers) who felt he wasn't given a fair chance, was treated unfairly and should have been retained. Mainly people who don't really follow college basketball. They are starting to realize how quickly and efficiently a rebuild can be started and enthusiasm about this moribund program can be rejuvenated. I think KA knew he couldn't do this about halfway through his tenure, and maybe should have realized it from the onset.
