decision. Rumor has it that after Chris Pronger was traded from St. Louis to Edmonton, his wife, who was from St. Louis, hated Edmonton so much she told Chris he had to demand a trade. That's the rumor, what we know is true, is Chris did ask for a trade without giving specific reasons and a year after Edmonton went all the way to the Stanley cup Final, but lost, they traded their best player to the Anaheim Ducks, who promptly went on to win the cup the very next year with Pronger leading the way. Wives can really screw teams/programs over.
