For a bit of color on this topic:
In 2018, 10 Democratic senators are running for reelection in states Trump carried last November. Trump won half of those states (IN, MO, MT, ND and WV) by double digits. How willing do you think those senators will be to follow Schumer's 'leadership' on this topic knowing they will likely lose re-election based on that (and hand the GOP a super-majority in the Senate)?
